Wadworth 6X 4.1% ABV Premium Bitter Original Ale 440ml Cans
Classic amber ale. The stuff of legends
With a legacy spanning over a century, 6X remains our flagship brew, celebrated for its unrivalled quality and flavour.
This hand-crafted ale is a timeless amber-hued beer distinctively full bodied and eminently drinkable. The nose is malty and fruity with a balancing hoppy note. The delicious malt and fruit character emerge even more intensely on the palate with a long, lingering malty finish.
Goes great with
Strong, salty cheese (e.g., mature Cheddar), Ploughman's lunch, granary bread, roasted red meat

A little bit about us...
Wadworth has been brewing beer in the beautiful market town of Devizes, in Wiltshire, since 1875.
Originally founded by Henry Alfred Wadworth, the business passed to his founding partner John Smith Bartholomew and is now in the fifth generation of ownership by the Bartholomew family, with Toby Bartholomew leading the company as managing director.
In 2023 we invested in a new state of the art brewing facility on Folly Road in Devizes, moving out of our 1885 brewery at Northgate. This new investment enables us to continue to brew Wadworth traditional ales such as 6X, Horizon and Henry’s IPA as well as launch Folly Road craft beers to expand our range and suit an ever-evolving beer market.
In addition to our family brewery, we have over 140 pubs across the South and West of England; split between 19 managed pubs and over 120 tenanted pubs run by our Business Partners.
